Driver's Ed is different than Private Driving Lessons. Private Driving Lessons "does  NOT" count for driving at night at 17, and driver education credit. With private driving lessons, students will NOT receive a MV285 Blue Card. Driver's Education is a state education program, and is required to obtain the MV285 blue card.
